Graphics Tutorials Lesson 03 – The Naive Line Algorithm

This lesson covers the naive line algorithm. The idea of drawing a line defined by two points with a finite number of pixels poses a problem for graphics programmers. There are a number of line algorithms. The naive line algorithm is a good start for understanding the process of rendering various things on screen. I also cover why it is considered the “naive” algorithm.
